Did you know that photorealism is an American art movement that began in the 1960s? It is a genre of painting that resembles photography in immaculate details. Along with Roberto Bernardi's super realistic paintings that I posted earlier, I'm once again blown away by these amazing paintings of Tom Martin, a 23 year old hyperrealist painter from the UK.
This literally BLOWS my mind! That is the neatest thing I have ever seen :)ReplyDelete
WOW--where do you keep finding these amazing artists?ReplyDelete
It take pure talent for one to take such wonderful pictures from things so simple.ReplyDelete

I say, "just point and shoot." Unbelievable amount of work to make those pictures look so realistic. Take a picture and move on. ha haReplyDelete

I think the title of your blog is genius by the way. With a blog this professional I have to follow....maybe I can glean some tips from it.

WOW I really do like this photography. Pretty neat
That's incredible! They really look like photos!!ReplyDelete
These paintings look nothing like paintings. I kept looking at them for any signs of brush and paint stroke. Wow, this guy is really good.ReplyDelete
That DOES seem like a lot of work to accomplish realistic pictures of everyday packaging. The talent seems sort of wasted on candy wrappers.ReplyDelete
Oh my goodness! Beyond amazing..thanks so much for sharing.ReplyDelete
