Just a bunch of random photos from my corner of the world ...

Butterfly on a bird's eye chili plant

I dreamed I was a butterfly, flitting around in the sky; then I awoke. Now I wonder: Am I a man who dreamt of being a butterfly, or am I a butterfly dreaming that I am a man?

And God called the expanse Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, the second day.

Thunder tea

Thunder tea

Lei (thunder) Cha (tea) was so named because of the loud noise made when the ingredients were traditionally pounded in a pestle and mortar. Essentially, it is a rice bowl topped with an assortment of green vegetables, beans, nuts, tofu, etc.  A hot green broth is poured into the bowl and given a good mix. Very unique, very healthy but certainly not everyone's cup of tea. Don't mind the pun! Grassy and a tad bitter, Lei cha is an acquired taste. Think ancient Chinese pesto!

Clitoria ternatea aka Butterfly Pea
This genus was thus named because of its resemblance to a certain vital lady part!
The Malays and Peranakans use the Butterfly Pea as a natural blue dye for cakes, rice, dumplings and beverages.

A funny video to share
Gotta love the cheeky banter!

Her: This is my clitorial bush.

Him:  Laughs nervously. That is called a clitorial bush?!
