Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo 2011

In 2011, MINI ran an advertising campaign in the Middle East with their Countryman to promote the Drive Out Loud MINI Festival. The compact car was stripped out and dropped into the middle of a tank at the Aquarium of the Dubai Mall. In case you were wondering, the Countryman you see here was merely a replica built of fibreglass, thus it was 100 percent safe for the aquarium.

What is shaped like a music note and produces a wacky "wah" sound?
Son#1, a violinist, was gifted an otamatone for his birthday. This silly, zany little instrument is surprisingly hard to play.

Father's Day dinner

Key lime pie, stone crab, Cuban sandwich, fried gator bites, conch?

Nope, none of the above iconic Floridian eats appeared on the menu.

Instead, they had "chicken chop", which, by the way, is a Malaysian/Singaporean dish!

Interestingly, I learned from a friend who travels extensively that there is no such thing as a "chicken chop" on the menu in the restaurants of western countries in which he dined abroad. Chicken Chop is actually a homegrown "western food".

Is Chicken Chop on the menu in restaurants in your corner of the world?

Venus flytrap
FUN FACT

Although the Venus flytrap is a carnivorous plant, it cannot eat the same type of meat as humans. The plant turns black, rots, and dies if it’s fed a fast-food burger.
