DearPhotograph is a site that invites readers to submit a photograph of the present with a juxtaposed picture of the past. The site is only a few weeks old but it has attracted a large following. Love the poignant caption of each photo.
Dear Photograph, We were inseparable for 26 years, till cancer came her way. Can you please give me my sister back?

Dear Photograph,
28 years ago I never realized how much Lakeside would become my rock with all the moving around we did. It will always feel like I’ve come home.

Dear Photograph,
Letting go of my mother’s hand the first day of school was always the hardest.

Dear Photograph,
I hope I’ve made my dad proud.

Dear Photograph,
Please tell Tobby I love him. I’m so sorry I didn’t have the courage to say “goodbye”…

Dear Photograph,
Summer days at the bay, there’s nothing like it…I hope my son will keep the family tradition for generations to come. Lindsay

Hi Mrs Veronica :) How are you doing?
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I'll have to check that out for sure. I'm a new follower from the Saturday hop.
ReplyDeleteThose are absolutely amazing when you look at them in succession. Such a cool idea!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this idea! How cool. Yes, they are nostalgic, but then that's what photos always are, right? Neat that with techno help we can catch two different time slots in the same picture. It's sort of like Nat King Cole's daughter singing "with" her dad on new CD's recording her voice over his old songs. Wonderful!!!
