They play with their food... literally. The Vienna Vegetable Orchestra is a unique ensemble of 11 musicians who make vegetable music with carrot flutes, pumpkin basses, leek violins, leek-zucchini-vibrators, cucumberophones and celery bongos.
At the end of their performance, the vegetable scraps are cooked and the audience is treated to a bowl of bubbling vegetable soup.
That's really weird, but I like weird so...thumbs-up!

ReplyDeleteInteresting what people can make music from...but not sure after seeing them wrap their mouths around the "instruments" (you know their blowing spit inside) that I would be inclined to eat..lol
