Charles Kaufman uses acrylic paints on flattened beer and soda cans as his canvas.
As he explains on his site, “I take empty soft drink or beer cans then crush and flatten them. Using acrylic paints I create a painting on one side of the crushed can. My Crushed Can artwork is then mounted in a frame, ready to hang. Not only is each artwork an original, but the crushing of the can creates a one-of-a-kind “canvas”
