  1. Toronto is planning for 2nd doses let's hope

  2. Sigh. Things are fully open here in the US, and we're being told we are safe to stop wearing masks if we've been fully vaccinated. I don't trust that advice and will continue to wear my mask if indoors in public places. I hope things are looking better there soon!

  3. Ooooh, noooo!
It's much better here, but it "announces" that it could be bad in the fall. Now it's a bit more "relaxation" - what a stupid word they chose for this madness ... I don't know statistics, I didn't want to know about them for a moment, neither last year, nor now. I understand, however, that 23% are "vaxxinated". We are no longer forced to wear a mask outdoors - only in crowded places and enclosed spaces.
    I'm so tired...
I wish you well, Veronica. People from all over your country (over the world!) to be well!

  4. Distance education continues, but vaccination is still very slow... I think we were a little tired, there was no such thing as aid funds, we are in a difficult economic situation...

  5. Sorry to hear you are in lockdown again! I hope that it works and it is lifted when you expect! So far our lockdowns haven't been longer than 3 days so I am hoping that continues to be the case - we have no virus here outside of quarantine, as all people returning to the country get put into quarantine. But sometimes cases can get out, so we get a lockdown while they find all the possible cases and put them into quarantine, haha! then we open up again thankfully. I know we are very lucky. We are all still waiting for the vaccine though!

Hope you are having a great weekend :)

  6. Oh no Veronica!! We are pretty much fully opened here in Arizona. Our governor a few months ago lifted size restrictions in restaurants, bars, gyms, etc. and took away the mask mandate. Our mayor took away the mask mandate if one is fully vaccinated but people are not required to show proof of vaccination (yet). Stores are easing up their mask policies. Kids just finished up their school year but were back in-person learning since March.

Hope yours doesn't go longer than 2 weeks!

  7. We are just coming out of our third lockdown. I really hope this is the last time.

  8. As of June 1, freedoms seem to increase :-) (Türkiye)

  9. Our lockdown is coming to an end this week. Stores opened last week. Pubs and resaurants will open for inside service in July. It's a list that we are following. International travel is coming back in August. If we have spikes, well all bets are off.

  10. I am sorry for the reoccurrence of the lockdown in your country of residence. Hopefully there will be no lockdown in the future

  11. Mask mandates are largely lifted here for "fully vaccinated" people, but there are many people who now blend in with those who'd taken precautions but who have refused vaccinations for largely indefensible reasons, i.e people who equate masks with certain political stances.

  12. Oh nooo, it's easing here gradually should be out of lockdown completely on 21st June but somehow I doubt it will go ahead :-(

    Have a lockdownlesstastic week 👍

  13. Oh no, I am so sorry to hear that. Things seem to be getting better here, but I know we cannot take it for granted. We must still be careful. Good luck and I wish you all to be safe, happy and healthy.

  14. Oh no! My husband and I are bought fully vaccinated now.

  15. Victoria is in lockdown but the rest of Australia isn't. Fingers crossed for the Vic's that it's only a week. You hang in there, it's so rough.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I hope you do not suffer that Veronica. Let's have less doom and gloom in the world.

    ReplyDelete
  17. the authorities here say I don't have to wear a mask but I will continue to wear it out away from home and avoid any sort of crowds.

    ReplyDelete
  18. We have a partial lockdown wherein the stand alone shops selling essential goods only can be open for business between 7am to 2pm. Malls and movie houses closed.

    ReplyDelete
  19. In Finland almost half are vaccinated for first time. Situation is worst that it´s ever been. This is far from over.

  20. We are moving towards being fully opened. I'm so sorry you are going through this. I must say it was almost a guilty pleasure being outside my home and indoors without a mask. It felt great. Hoping it holds and we can all be able to live mask free soon.

  21. I'm really sorry for you. Here in France, there is only a curfew from 11pm, the terraces are open, the theatres and cinemas are also open with reduced capacity. all the shops are being reopened little by little. But the health policy here in France is very incoherent.

  22. I'm so sorry Veronica. Darn. Hope you've been vaccinated. It is getting batter here, but everyone is still wearing masks in stores etc. and we personally being more careful than we have to be (restaurants are now open, but we are not going, for example).... I hope the lockdown works for Malaysia.

  23. Oh dear. I feel for you, but a short sharp shock is better than endlessly dragging it out like here in the Uk. We've only recently come out of 4 months of Lockdown since Boxing Day (Christmas!), we were told to #stayathome, no crossing into other councils, not leaving the house unless it was for doctor's appointments, essential work or food shopping. We are now in Level 2 of 4 - at Level 0 normal life resumes. We still can't do some things and are not supposed to travel into higher areas and as new infection are rising again, we will be in Level 2 a wee while yet.. Both my husband and I belong to the priority 2 group and are fully vaccinated. Here in Scotland they start vaccinating 18 to 29-year olds soon. Very slowly things are getting easier. All the best, nic

  24. Oh no!!! One step forward two steps back. We are opening up here in the US. Hubby and I are traveling to see my sister for the first time in over a year later this week. Flying across the country at the end of the month to visit our son. All of my family and friends are fully vaccinated.

  25. Pretty good here, I don't think we have any cases here at the moment.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Well, being from the same country as Diana, Romania, her answer is mine.
We will see what the future holds.

    Happy Wordless Wednesday, Veronica! ♥

  27. We are in the same boat as you, hun. Though they are gradually opening utility stores on an odd even numbering basis.

I guess it's better this way, else people tend to go all hog. We have had way too many losses now, and it's better to be safe than sorry.

How have you been staying busy, dearest? Are you allowed a few outdoor walks within your vicinity? Ours has been relaxed for a few hours morning and evening only. Which is a saving grace. But within our condominium.

I'm missing my nature jaunts and travels but mostly content at home with mi familia. As long as we are safe.

    Lots and lots of love.

  28. Total lockdown really stinks! We are almost completely back to normal life for over a month now. It is wonderful. Hope you get there soon.

    ReplyDelete
  29. ...I'm sorry to read the news, things are better here. Take care.

  30. Sorry to hear about the new lockdown measures in your country from 1st to 15th June.

Here lockdown measures are eased and curfew is going to end. At the moment there is still a curfew from 11 pm to 5 am. Obviously, we are still wearing a mask and respecting social distancing rules, although about 50% of people in Italy are vaccinated (AstraZeneca, PfizerBiontech and Johnson).

    Take care!

  31. Sorry to hear this. We're doing pretty well here, but you never know.

Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday and stay safe. ♥

  32. Yikes! So sorry. Things are nearly wide open in Louisiana. All restrictions have been lifted. It's nice to see smiling faces once again.

  33. We're opening up here in Texas. So sorry to hear of your lockdown, stay healthy and safe!

  34. I hate this too words! And the fear is rising!
Decisions based on fear are usually wrong... My point of view!

    Happy WW, Veronica!❤️

  35. We have had both vaccinations along with 50% of the UK population. 75% have had their first shot. We are supposed to have all restrictions lifted on June 21st, but with numbers rising I think it would be foolish to go ahead with that.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Pretty bad! Hope, it isn't that messy at your end. Lockdown at right time can prevent the situation from getting out of control but the govts are least interested in public health and only introduces such measures when the water already rises above the head. Stay safe!

  37. I'm sorry to hear from you the new Lockdown, "OH nooo" its really s...

  38. Hello,
I am sorry about your lockdown news. We are opening everything, people are mostly vaccinated.
Some people are just refusing to have the vaccine shot, but things are better here.
Take care and stay well. Have a happy day and a great weekend!

  39. Most adults in the US who want the vaccine have had at least one vaccine. In Florida I had both of my vaccines by mid February and where we live (now in Philadelphia) because we spend our winters in Florida and summers in Philadelphia things are almost all open and masks are not required for the vaccinated. I am so sorry to hear that you are still having major problems and require a lock dock again. That was so difficult. Stay safe

    ReplyDelete
  40. Oh dear! Most everyone who wants to get the vaccine has gotten it here. Now the surges in cases is among the unvaccinated.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Oh NO! I'm so sorry! I hope this gets better for you soon. Here in Chicago, we had 400 new cases and 9 deaths...which is an amazing feat! I pray that you get the vaccines to everyone there and your numbers come down too.

    Be safe, my friend!

  42. I hope the evil virus goes away and leaves you alone soon. We've been fully open for over a month now and all appears to be going well.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Oh, dear! I do hope it doesn't last long. I hear bits of Australia are locked-down, too.

Thanks for sharing your link at 'My Corner of the World' this week!

  44. Wow! That does sound discouraging.
Things in my corner of the world have pretty much returned to normal.
