You've probably seen these heartwarming pics as they have gone viral for some time now. They are from a collection of photographs by Miyoko Ihara chronicling the ordinary daily life of her elderly grandmother and her beloved odd-eyed cat Fukumaru.
An inseparable duo
Miyoko Ihara began snapping pictures of the extraordinary relationship between her now 89-year-old grandmother, Misa, and her feline companion fourteen years ago.
These charming pics have now been published in a book and the pair has struck a chord with people all over Japan.

ReplyDeleteThat's cool! I bet if something were to happen to the cat Misa wouldn't live as long. They have a special relationship.
ReplyDeleteThe only photo I was like, "Humm that doesn't look safe." is the one where Misa is cutting the fish. The cat is right there. What if she slipped?
