Essex textile artist Sharon Blackman uses recycled textiles, buttons and applique techniques for her creations. Simple pleasures like crunchy autumn leaves, home baking, The Darling Buds of May, the colour green, the scent of bluebells, a trusty old book, staying in on rainy days, warm tea and apple cake are captured in her work.

Those are really pretty neat!
ReplyDeleteLOVE THE DETAIL in those!
ReplyDeleteIt IS your blog!!! Every time I come here, I hear softly ringing bells on my computer!!!!!!! It has been driving me crazy trying to figure out what alarm or notification was happening. I bet you are laughing at me, Veronica. I even asked on FB and Twitter if anyone knew what was happening with my MacBook Pro. Now that I am sure I have figured it out, I like your softly tinkling bells. It only took two months!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteToday's post is so nice with hand made fabric designs. How are you, Blogging Buddy? My newest Grandson will be born tomorrow morning at 7:30 am via C-section. We are on pins and needles here.

Very nice. So simple. I love the baby in the sling. That would be sweet in a nursery. The princess and the pea would be sweet in MGs room. One day...
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, V.

I am really impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Either way keep up the excellent quality writing, it is rare to see a nice blog like this one today..
