Miniature Food Rings

How cute are these miniature food rings handmade by Sofia, a Canadian artist living in Japan! Dig in!


Nabe Pot - Nabe is a delicious healthy meal where meat and veggies are boiled in a broth and then eaten after being dipped in a sauce.

Gourmet Dessert - a beautiful plate with 3 different gourmet desserts. One even has a chocolate cat on top!

A Kid's Lunch - a hamburger patty with sauce, noodles , rice with peas, some veggies and a fried shrimp.

Gyudon Ring Beef And Rice - a bowl of "gyudon" which basically means beef over rice, complete with a pair of chopsticks.

Fried shrimp lunch - A cute red plate with lettuce leaves, tomatoes,corn and potato salad and fried shrimps!

Japanese traditional food - There is a little bowl of soup with some veggies and a cherry blossom shaped piece of "kamaboko" ( made from fish), a dish of eggplant and pink "onigiri" (rice ball). It is pink from "umeboshi" (pickled plums). There is also a miniature spoon!
