OaKoAk

French artist OaKoAk creates witty street art that will put a smile on your face. Giant green hands prise open a damaged garage door, an oil spill becomes Captain Caveman, Calvin and Hobbes sliding down a handrail, a pipe is an elephant's trunk............ Absolute brilliance!!

Ulric Collette - Genetic Portraits

Who do you look like in your family?
I was told by my aunts that my mom was very pretty when she was young but unfortunately, I have not inherited her looks. I don't look like my dad either. I'm short like my mom but my dad is a very tall man. No fair!!
Josh's baby pics and mine are almost identical. A shame though 'cos Hubby is the one who has the looks. I'm the one with the brains!!! Interestingly, all three of my neighbour's kids (2 boys and a girl) of mixed parentage are clones of their mom who is Chinese but they look nothing like their Malay dad!

Check out this cool project by Quebec-based graphic designer and photographer Ulric Collette where he explores the facial similarities between two different members of the same family by fusing together a half of each face.

Adam Ellis - Never Be My friend

Which is worse? Being tagged in an unflattering photo of yourself on Facebook or be mocked in a caricature of you?

That's the risk you have to take when you're friends with Adam Ellis on FB! When he is bored, Adam browses through his friends' photos, cartoonizes and publishes them on his blog. Says Adam, "Sometimes I take... liberties. Let's just call it artistic license." He names this funny series: "Never Be My Friend."

And yes, Ellis did lose a couple of friends who didn't appreciate his artistic license!!

The Adventures Of Sweet Sugar Belle

Just when I thought Eleni's Playfully Unique Cookies were the best in the world, I found these darlings by Sweet Sugar Belle!

I'm totally smitten by her Four Decades Worth of Cookies Project that totally captures the quintessence of each era.

The 50s

The 60s

The 70s

The 80s

All together
Remember the peace sign? I had stickers of that plastered all over my stuff - guitar, books, school bag, badminton racquet, etc. I thought it was the coolest symbol ever!!

Check these out too. Can they get any cuter?
