Hometown Finds

I was traipsing around my hometown looking for a coffee shop when these  murals stopped me in my tracks.

Gotta love Marilyn Monroe.

... and Charlie Chaplin...

We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery, we need humanity; more than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost. ― Charlie Chaplin

  1. I especially like the Charlie Chaplain message. His words seem very appropriate in today's world.

  5. Did you find a coffeeshop?

I like those murals! Do you think they were old? Wonder how many young people would know who Marilyn Monroe was or Charlie Chaplin, but I like both of the quotes features here of theirs.

Hope you had a nice Mother's Day Veronica! Happy Mother's Day to you as well!

I'm hoping your restrictions are getting better there. Things are changing quickly here in the states. It's sort of weird being with people again.

  16. Where is this? Reminds me of Singapore but I don't think that's where you are? The Monroe is too negative, I'll stick with Charile.
