In this pic, the restaurant terrace is brought to life by the reflection of a taxi going past in the window.
I love the cinemagraphs! I do agree though, they're a tad on the creepy side. For instance, the first is, as you said, captivating... but the "eye" shot and the "newspaper" ones are a little strange.

I love the first one--for some reason, they seem like something out of a Harry Potter movie, where the people in photos and portraits sometimes interact with the viewer!
