I’m back! π Feeling refreshed, recharged, and (thankfully) fully recovered. My little digital detox turned into an even better adventure—I just got back from an overseas trip.
From sipping π· under sunny plazas to getting lost in pastel-tiled streets, every moment felt like a dream. Our cameras are bursting with photos, our hearts are full of memories, and we’ve probably gained a few extra pastry pounds.
Can’t wait to share snippets soon—but first, here’s a little photo of me, hubby, and Son #1.
Any guesses where we were? π
It’s good to be back. ❤️

ReplyDeleteNice to see you again. A lovely photo of you and your family, and I would guess that is San Francisco? Being a California gal, I grew up in a town only a couple hours away and visited many times. So glad to hear you're feeling better. Have a happy week.

ReplyDeleteDear Veronica, I missed you too and I'm so glad you're feeling better and that you were traveling. By the way, at first glance I also thought I was seeing the Golden Gate Bridge here, but it has different piers. Could it be that you were in Lisbon and I'm seeing the 25th of April Bridge here? The family photo is definitely a little treasure!
ReplyDeleteAll the best, Traude

ReplyDeleteWelcome back. I'm glad you're all healed and had a good time.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back! Seriously, there’s a quiet wisdom in forcing yourself to take that proper break, you come back with so much more perspective and energy for everything, including blogging. Sounds like an absolutely necessary adventure! (My guess is Portugal, for the pastel tiles and plazas)
ReplyDeleteI’ve just shared a new post on my end if you need something to read while you settle back in. So happy you’re feeling refreshed.
Welcome back, Veronica! Glad your recovery went well and you're back on your feet. Looking forward to hearing about your latest travels!

ReplyDeleteOh Veronica, I'm so glad you are back! I was going to guess San Francisco but I'm not thinking they have pastel-tiled streets. Hmm. Can't wait to find out more!
ReplyDeleteYou have certainly been missed Veronica Lee and nice to see you and your family with the Golden State Bridge in the CA background. It is nice to unwind and relax and looking forward to reading and seeing more of your adventures.
ReplyDeleteOh welcome back, Veronica! How delightful to see you again! You've been missed, for sure.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely picture, I'm not sure where you are, but I guess it was close to bridge!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Veronica :) I'm so pleased you had a lovely holiday. I often wondered where you were. Portugal is renowned for the colourful tiles in use everywhere, and the bridge in the background is another reason I think you might have visited my country! It's a very nice happy photo of you all, and I'm glad you enjoyed your break where ever you went.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Veronica! Lovely family photo. ☺ I'm not sure where it was taken, but am looking forward to the travelogues.
