Macau 1993
Remember this?
Nice pictures, Veronica! Love the kitty for 'cat tax'. Yep, I remember rotary phones. We had one that was very similar to that one.
ReplyDeleteThe Milky stork is amazing. Yes, I remember the old style telephone ☎️ 😉😄😄
ReplyDeleteCute cat
ReplyDeleteI do remember rotary phones, Veronica. In fact, we still had one at my parents' home when my children were growing up. I love that kitty, too!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
i always like your photo collages and the photos that don't 'see the light of day..cute!! Enjoyed them all and that phone ...kids today would go ..what the heck is it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos again. And Mimi is just a most gorgeous cat!
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures. I haven't seen a phone like that in a long time.
ReplyDeleteWe actually have one of those old phones tucked away in a drawer. Why we keep it I have no idea.
ReplyDeleteMimi is such a cute cat! These are lovely photos and the last one made me smile - we used to have a phone like that when I was younger!
ReplyDeleteHope that you had a good weekend :) It's a nice relaxing long weekend here.
Away From The Blue
Ah, a rotary phone. I once had a middle school class that had one as a prop and had no idea how it worked. I demonstrated. They were astonished.
ReplyDeleteNice photos
ReplyDeleteMe enamore del gato. Lindas flores. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteDearest Veronica,
ReplyDeleteLovely images and that kitty reminded me of our first male kitty that used to walk on a leash. He loved it.
The food always looks yummy and you look so beautiful in Macau.
How those years pass us by...!
Hugs,
Mariette

It's too early for my aloe to bloom in my back yard but it looks just like your flowers.

Hello Veronica, I loved all your photos. The kitty is cute and the Stork is a favorite. The Stork looks different than the stork I have seen here. We had a similar phone. Pretty flowers and Aloe plant. Thank you for sharing your post. Take care, enjoy your day and the week ahead. PS, I appreciate the comment.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo collage. These photos look beautiful. I like the food - this dinner. Until I got hungry! The cat is beautiful and the nature is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Poland!
Mimi is cute and so is the stork!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to still have old photos, and that telephone...takes me back to my childhood.
ReplyDeleteI'm very familiar with aloe vera. My mother-in-law introduced me to its healing benefits many years ago. It's a wonderful plant. Your neighbor's cat is pretty with those big green eyes. That stork is unusual, and what a beautiful white bird. A cute photo of you. And I love that old phone. I remember them well, and sometimes I miss the good 'ole days and the simple things we had. Thanks for the smile. : )
ReplyDelete~Sheri
Love that picture of you and your husband in Macau.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your posts, many beautiful photos and with family also. Mimi is such a cute little cat. I am grateful to see a part of the world I will not be able to visit. Thank you so much for sharing them, all are delightful!
ReplyDeleteHa. Love the old phone. We went to that spot in Macau too - St Pauls?
ReplyDeleteYes, I do remember the rotary phones! I think I'm one of the few people who still have a landline, but I've upgraded to a cordless phone. LOL.
ReplyDeleteI remember those bakelite phones. The cord used to drive me mad the way it kept twisting up. Mimi is a sweet kitty.
ReplyDeleteadorable cat and milky stork...i enjoy your colorful photos...and the dinner looks so fancy. Have a nice day Veronica ^^
ReplyDeleteWe were just talking about rotary wall phones and table top phones the other day at my son's birthday! I had no idea there were so many species of aloe. you have such beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteI love the old dial phone. Except I don't miss them. Way back in the day when I was building pipelines all over the us and we didn't have cell phones I would have to find a pay phone with a dial. So I would call the number, and then tell the operator my long account number and the number I was calling and then wait, and wait, and then wait some more. Usually it was outside an very hot or cold. Poor me!!!
ReplyDeleteI love how you show your photos with loose organization. I love looking at photos people take, the more the better, and you do great.
Enjoy your week!!
Remarkable assortment of photos here! I admire your cat, she's a cutie. That aloe is quite unique, I've never actually seen one like it. The rotary phones, I do miss those... and I only see them in old 80s movies I get to watch these days!
ReplyDeletelove Milky Stork and cat...

Oh yes, of course I still remember such phones, dear Veronica :-DD
ReplyDeleteYour nephew has a sweet, pretty kitten, and the Milk Stork is an attractive bird, too! I didn't know there were aloes that bloom so beautifully.
You should make a big photo book out of your shoe box memories that you can leaf through over and over again.
All the best and Happy May, Traude
