Hi Veronica, stunning - looks like an orchid. My pic is a damselfly, you can just see the outline of the wings along its tail on the second photograph. Have a good week, stay safe. nic
This is a beautiful Asystasia gangetica, dear Veronica! But, to be honest, I'm not entirely sure God cares so well about wildflowers. They are getting fewer and fewer, the habitats are dwindling, like the habitats of soo many animals ... Perhaps he should pat people on the fingers more often ... Hugs and best wishes from Austria Traude
Such a sweet little flower - so pretty. When I'm out on my hikes I'm so attraced to the flowers others might not see because they are so tiny. I wish I could remember the name of the ones that bloom in spring near a shoreline mostly in the shade and it has a round center with about 9 shoots (blooms) that come from the center. It's so tiny others wouldn't probaby take notice but I get up close and get photos that make it look big (like u did) Then one can see the beauty. I love your quotes. I always remind myself when walking to "stay awake" so I see all of God's beautiful nature.
That looks like a wild violet and I remember seeing so many growing wild in the yard of our former home in VA. The beauty and resilience of small blooms is amazing and we humans could learn a thing or two.
I have no doubt about that! Thank you for the flower and quote, Veronica! I wanted to tell you that I added the text under the images in my quotes post that you visited, so you can translate them. Thank you for telling me that! Have a beautiful weekend!
That is a pretty little flower. We sometimes get flowers that reseed in the cracks in the concrete, usually violas. They have made the effort to grow there so I always water them.
The violet is very pretty, Veronica!

Amen. So true Veronica. He knows what is best for us indeed! Pretty flower!!
