Chinese New Year 2019

2019 heralds The Year Of The Pig. So if you're born in the  years 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995 and 2007, you are a pig and this is your year!

Famous piggies include Elton John, Stephen King and Hillary Clinton.

According to a FengShui master, 2019 is generally a great year to make money, and a good year to invest!

The porcine year promises to be a year full of joy and blessings, especially for piggies.

Our local malls are a sight to behold.

  4. Chinese New Year sounds like the kind of festivity I need right now. Fun photos and I adore that little mouse running across your page. The top photo looking down at the tiny people has a really nice perspective.

  8. Kung hei fat choi! I miss celebrating Chinese New Year in the Philippines. My favorite is the "tikoy" (sticky rice cake), and of course the Dragon Dance. The Philippine-Chinese community is a strong-knit community. Happy Chinese New Year! #globalblogging

  21. Happy Lunar New Year to you - it's huge here, in Sydney. It's bigger than Valentine's Day in the shops now. The whole city lights up - literally - the Harbour Bridge is Red at the moment. I LOVE it! #KCACOLS
