Prayers Needed


This beautiful family is in need of prayers for their sweet baby Emerson who has Trisomy 18. You can read about his condition here.

Sweet Emerson is the nephew of bloggy pally Alissa Apel

Emerson' feeding tube came out last night. Hospice came to fix it, but his color hasn't been the same since. He's had 2 apnea spells.

Please pray for Emerson's family and help his Mom, Dad and Brothers feel at peace @ The Apels.

    Oh sweet baby :( I have a friend whose nephew has Trisomy 18 as well. He is 3 weeks old today, and it has been amazing seeing how God has already walked with his family. Praying for this family as well!

    Aw, gees, that is just so darn sad. I pray that they have many more days and months to enjoy little Emerson. How very sad for all of them.

    Thank you so much!!!!! Emerson is still hanging in there. He's been cluster feeding, so gaining weight. On the other hand he's loosing strength. He used to be able to breastfeed, and now doesn't have the strength to do that. My sister's been doing lots of skin to skin contact. They are trying not to move him around too much. When he does get passed around his color isn't good.
