Louise Caola - Cakes In Disguise

What started off as a prank when amateur baker Louise Caola created her first sausage and mash cake as a joke for a friend's birthday, turned out to be a full time baking pursuit for the Londoner. Surprised by the positive response from her friends,  the 23 year-old Caola began creating more faux savoury cakes, posting the pictures to her Twitter and Instagram pages.
Orders started to flood in from all over the internet!

With her growing popularity, Caola  quit her day job in advertising  and seriously ventured into her cake business full time, making novelty cakes and  naming her brand Poppy&Lulu.

Is it a pizza? Is it a cake? Gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "the proof is in the pudding" doesn't it?

These are so amazing. There are several that you can't tell by the photos that they're cake! How fun.
