Alex Queral

Cuban-born artist Alex Queral carves the faces of celebrities into old telephone books.
By freehand sketching, he copies a selected famous face and then places the drawing over the phone book. Using the drawing as a template, he slices away at the thousands of pages with an artist's scapel or razor blade.
