Gallimaufry is a new word for me. I understood it from context, but had to look it up to get the true meaning. - Margy

ReplyDeleteGreat photos as always, and those birds are just beautiful! I love the tribute to fatherhood on father's day, but I keep going back to the cafe painting and that wonderful chocolate dessert! Yummy!

ReplyDeleteYour pictures are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI especially liked those delights at your favorite cafe, Veronica Lee, and what's NOT to like from the choices shown. Cattle egret were a familiar sight when we lived on the VA eastern shore. They would perch on the backs of wild horses and the horses never seemed to mind their presence.
ReplyDeleteWonderful variety of photos. I enjoyed them all and like the quote "Some beautiful paths on our journey can only be discovered when you dare to face the unknown." Very inspiring . We have lots of those egrets in South Florida.
ReplyDeleteDelightful pictures once again. An egret has suddenly taken up residence in my local park and it's caused a lot of interest!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! I love the cattle egret, it's very pretty
ReplyDeleteThe afternoon delights look delicious and that statue is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLove that Dutch house as it reminds me of the one in Keukenhof Tulip Garden in Amsterdam. I like the quote also. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove these pictures. So beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
