Fun fact
In India, a murderer was put behind bars when the victim's pet parrot squealed on him. The police had no initial leads on the crime, until the parrot, named Hercule, provided the vital clue. The victim's husband picked up on the fact that whenever his nephew visited, the parrot would start screeching. It would even react when the nephew's name was mentioned in conversation. The family then informed the police and the suspect was taken into custody. Upon questioning, the nephew confessed to the crime.

ReplyDeleteDearest Victoria,
ReplyDeleteWow, what a clever parrot and he must have LOVED his human!
Guess that animals, including such intelligent birds, with their 6th sense do know more than any human ever can.
Lovely photos and what an Airbnb you got to stay at!
I'm enjoying sunny days with sweet friends and days fly. So relieved with the new rule since June 12! No paperwork nor testing needed anymore. Cancelled my appointment for Thursday to obtain my letter for clearance. No longer needed.
Pieter is looking forward to me coming home and I sure do so too and seeing our kitties again.
Hugs,
Mariette

Wonderful photos and I'm amazed by the parrot story. I can see the parrot being traumatized by murder and saying the name, but that the police listened is amazing.
ReplyDelete10 feet in diameter is really big for a lilly pad.
ReplyDeleteThere must be a moral to the parrot story. As in be careful what you do you if there's anyone around, even a harmless looking parrot. I like the look of the green curry Veronica. Perhaps you could mail me a portion?
ReplyDeleteWow...these are some amazing pictures...thanks for sharing dear :-)
