Golden dewdrops
Japanese dinner treat for Son#1's birthdayFun Fact
The most expensive sashimi ever sold cost $5,000 per pound!
Sushi Zanmai chain owner Kiyoshi Kimura forked out $3.1 million for a 612-pound bluefin tuna (around $5,000 a pound) at a Tokyo fish auction. The fish was then divided into over 12,000 pieces and sold at his chain of restaurants.
Hello dear!
ReplyDeleteI have two cats, but neither of them wants to go for walks with me like that :) I would eat sushi, these photos look delicious! Great photo, very inspiring post :)
Greetings from Poland!
Sushi looks yummy.
ReplyDeleteLove sushi -Christine cmlk79.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThe golden dewdrops was very beautiful. I have never seen it before. The cat was very cute too.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week ahead, Veronica!
Love your photos, Veronica! I've never had sushi, and at those prices, I wouldn't even be tempted. Happy Birthday to your son!
ReplyDeleteDearest Veronica,
ReplyDeleteWow, that kitty wearing her harness looks so cute. Only our 2nd kitty did walk on a leash like that. He was fun to take along and he also biked with us, sitting in his wicker basket and looking out and being happy.
Oh, that mango sushi must have tasted heavenly!
And what about the very expensive bluefin tuna for that much money!
Hugs,
Mariette
Nice series. The mango sushi must taste good!
ReplyDeleteHow cute with the cat on the person's shoulders! The food looked yummy!! I did like those dandelion pictures, Veronica!! Have a good week ahead!

Loved this post :) thanks for your sharing...
ReplyDeleteWas the cat's food-giver holding up a finger? The cat sure looked comfortable.
ReplyDeleteThat orange cat looks so much like my marmelade Gypsy. What a sweet face. And that sashimi! YUM!
ReplyDeleteLove this collection of photos. Hard to pick out a favorite. The flowers are beautiful, the food looks yummy (except I'm not sure I would enjoy mango in sushi), and the cat, birds, and monkey shots are great.
ReplyDeleteLindo gatito, la cena parece muy rica. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteGostei de ver estas belas fotografias.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e boa semana.

I've never seen a cat tolerate a leash before until these photos! Gorgeous flowers and amazing food photos, but that pricey tuna? WOW! Only the rich can afford to eat like that!
ReplyDeleteHello Veronica,
ReplyDeleteWonderful captures of the monkey and the beautiful birds. The kitty is adorable. I love the pretty flowers. Your son's birthday dinner looks delicious, I hope he had a very happy birthday. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, enjoy your day and have a happy new week!
A beautiful kitten, dear Veronica! Do you know Bob the street cat? My former cat Jeronimo also let me lead him on a leash or sat on my shoulder - unfortunately only until he was neutered... Again you show beautiful nature and food photos. I couldn't afford the most expensive sashimi (and I didn't want to, even if I could... I'd rather donate the money to the needy or to nature conservation.)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your lovely comments!
All the best and have a good time

I was thinking that those animals are fed better than we are.....and then I saw the sushi!

ReplyDelete...WOW, dandelions sure grow BIG there! t $3.1 million for a 612-pound bluefin tuna is amazing.
ReplyDeleteImpressive collection. The kitty is gorgeous and with special eyes!
ReplyDeleteBut I love also the other creatures. The food is to complicate for me, but
it looks delicious!
Thank you Veronica!
Happy WW and a fine week!
The monkey! We visited a place in France where some lemurs roamed on an island and you walked among them as well as another spot with macaques: they were a little more scary as one did not like this one lady getting too close to them. Always love pictures of flowers! They make me happy.

Love the food. Oh I love the food.
ReplyDeleteAdorable kitty and all the other precious critters.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
Lots of good looking food for people and animals in your post!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if our cat would take to a harness to get outside and take a walk. Maybe? It's cute to see the pics.
ReplyDeleteThank you for showing me this place
ReplyDeleteThe monkey is cute. Love the food pictures, that looks yummy.
ReplyDeleteOh fun Veronica -- hard to comment on only one or two -- but the harnessed kitty happily riding on his person's shoulders made me smile! And your son's Birthday dinner looks good enough to eat right off the page. Yummmmm.
ReplyDeleteLovely cat. I used to call Flynn my shoulder cat. I can't eat sushi any more. I used to enjoy it until one day it had far too much wasabi in it which made me violently ill. I haven't been able to face any sushi since.
ReplyDeleteThe mango sushi looks yum!

So cute animals ;)
ReplyDeleteHello,:=) What a great variety of photos. I like the Cattle Egret and the Monkey pictures, all the creatures seem to get on well together. The dewdrop flowers are beautiful, and also the cat with lovely eyes, on someones shoulder. The food you prepared for your son's birthday looks delicious. Thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteAWESOME
ReplyDeletesherry @ fundinmental
You have the most exotic looking birds in your area, and you take the most delightful photos. That monkey is cute, and the cat has pretty eyes. The dandelions are so lovely. I'm wondering, are those sculptures? The Japanese dinner looks really good. Thanks for taking us along on your journey to different parts of where you live. I learn something every time I visit. : )
ReplyDelete~Sheri
There're beautiful creatures in that park! Nice pictures of the animals that live in the park.
ReplyDeleteI love both mango sushi and salmon sashimi.
Have a nice weekend, Veronica :-)
wow, that seems to be a great place to visit :)
ReplyDeleteWow, i would love to walk through that park - beautiful birds. I wish, when I first got my cat as a kitten, that i had trained her on a leash. I try once in awhile and I can't get anywhere with her - i would have to drag her across the ground to get her to move. I see more and more photos of people with cats on leashes or in their back packs.
ReplyDeleteI blog frequently and I appreciate your information. Your article really impressed me the most. I will bookmark your blog and keep up to date with your latest news
