Despite his disability, he was honking loudly and amorously to the peahens around him, his pomposity no less than before, when his hobble was a strut. And judging by the peafowls' response to him, he still rules.

W/W - The One-footed Peacock
Despite his disability, he was honking loudly and amorously to the peahens around him, his pomposity no less than before, when his hobble was a strut. And judging by the peafowls' response to him, he still rules.

Happy Wordless Wednesday!
Beautiful pictures and awesome quote Veronica!
ReplyDeleteWildlife and nature always teaches us a lesson...the beauty is within, not the outer skin. Your quote is perfect. And beautiful bird.
ReplyDeleteWell, maybe the girls will be turned on by that...who knows?
ReplyDeleteHe sure is lovely with all that plumage!
That was the first animal Mica paid attention to at the zoo. When he went on a field trip to a farm for preschool, he argued with the farmer about how peacocks do belong on farms. He was 3, and I wasn't there. I got him a peacock puppet. It's so cool! Sadly he lost interest in the pretty bird.
ReplyDeleteGreat quote! Cheers
ReplyDeleteYou are so right - having the best attitude rocks.
