"Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God"

I thank thee, Lord for common things...
For each known bird that flies and sings...
Each blade of green grass...sweet wild flowers...
Refreshing breezes....cleansing showers...
Each newborn day...soft fall of night...
For gentle shade and glorious light.

I thank thee for the commonplace...
For all the loveliness and grace
Of Earth beneath and skies above...
Showing the bounty of Thy love.
