  9. Ah, a rotary phone. I once had a middle school class that had one as a prop and had no idea how it worked. I demonstrated. They were astonished.

  34. I'm very familiar with aloe vera. My mother-in-law introduced me to its healing benefits many years ago. It's a wonderful plant. Your neighbor's cat is pretty with those big green eyes. That stork is unusual, and what a beautiful white bird. A cute photo of you. And I love that old phone. I remember them well, and sometimes I miss the good 'ole days and the simple things we had. Thanks for the smile. : )

  41. We were just talking about rotary wall phones and table top phones the other day at my son's birthday! I had no idea there were so many species of aloe. you have such beautiful photos.

  42. I love the old dial phone. Except I don't miss them. Way back in the day when I was building pipelines all over the us and we didn't have cell phones I would have to find a pay phone with a dial. So I would call the number, and then tell the operator my long account number and the number I was calling and then wait, and wait, and then wait some more. Usually it was outside an very hot or cold. Poor me!!!
I love how you show your photos with loose organization. I love looking at photos people take, the more the better, and you do great.
    Enjoy your week!!

Your nephew has a sweet, pretty kitten, and the Milk Stork is an attractive bird, too! I didn't know there were aloes that bloom so beautifully.
You should make a big photo book out of your shoe box memories that you can leaf through over and over again.
All the best and Happy May, Traude
