Pink

I love how the pink pops in these photos. No filter. No edit.

The extreme brilliance of these carnations in the light of the mid-day sun was almost blinding.

And in my flower-beds, I think,

Smile the carnation and the pink.

  37. I used to not be a pink person, but as I've gotten older and only have boys I love the color. I always pick pink toothbrushes to stand out from theirs. Not that boys can't love pink too, it's just that society in the US anyhow have made it into more of a girl color. Oddly it used to be a boy color - back when they were moving away from white gowns for babies. More boys wore pink during that time.

I had to laugh when I had my gecko on my bright pink skirt. I snapped a photo and said, "See boys can look good in pink!"
