I've never heard of a cat cafe, there isn't one here in the Netherlands either. The food and the pastries look delicious, I would love a piece of pastry. Greetings Irma
Cat cafes are great. There is one in Vienna. Cats live there in a safe space, have food and medicin, company from other cats and people who pet them and play with them without the burden to take care of a pet. Or people who aren't allowed to have pets in their appartments.
Oh my goodness, I've never heard of a cat cafe before. That photo of the cat in his position is interesting. The food looks good.....and that chocolate cake!
I hope the February days are wonderful for you. : )
no, I've never been to a cat cafe, but I've read many reports, I would have liked it, but I'm allergic to cat hair. your photos are beautiful. thank you dear Veronica! have a nice weekend ! ♥
I have never been to a cat cafe, though I've heard there is now one in town. I suppose every day at my house is like a cat cafe -- but with only one cat! All that food looks just fabulous. And Pont Alexandre is one of my favorites!
lovely series of photos. And also the one of your son. I used to visit Pebbles Kitty Cat Cafe in Nl/ Rotterdam with my friends once and it was really cozy there. There are now eighteen cat cafes in the Netherlands. Just relax for me too an to than if they feel like it, play with them or pet them. and if you can't keep a cat yourself, definitely a tip to go there.
From the photos, Veronica Lee, I would suppose that a cat café is a place where you and your feline could go and while you had coffee, the cat was free to explore with other cats? I would wonder if any would fight with one another. I have heard of outdoor dog parks, but this was a new one about cats and indoors.
I have never heard of a cat cafe. Now I'll have to Goole it to see what it is. Son #1 took some very nice pictures. The one that looks like a contortionist is very intriguing. Looks like it has an extra leg.
A great gallimaufry! One of your kitties could be a sibling for one of mine. Thanks for sharing at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2024/02/the-chapel-of-apparitions-in-paray-le.html

Your sons inherit your photographic eye and talent! Fun. I read just this morning that a Cat Cafe opened in our Oregon home city -- but we are in Florida now, so I can't check it out. I hope it is still there by next summer when we get home! (You never know about new restaurants anyway and a Cat Cafe is quite a new concept for our area as far as I know.) We always had cats when our kids were small and I like them, especially indoor pets because of the damage they do to the bird population when they roam outside. But I am not sure I would enjoy eating with them. (I wonder if they serve tuna fish? -- when we had cats, just opening a can of fish for lunch salad or sandwich would send our kitties right into the kitchen with loud meows to be fed even if they had just eaten their usual meal!)
Never been to a cat cafe, nor have we thought of going to one. I guess we always had cats at home if we wanted a cat. It's great that so many enjoy the cafes and I think some let you adopt the cats too. Now we don't have cats but we actually are enjoying it.
The cat cafe sounds like a fun place, lots of cute kitties. I like the Corgi too. Pretty views of Paris. The cake looks delicious. Take care, have a great day!
of course i had to stop and sit and gaze at that decadent piece of cake ... and i haven't even had breakfast yet! thanks for always serving up a beautiful array of photos for us, friend. i live vicariously here.
What a great fish dish presentation! I also like that chocolate cake. My brother-in-law has the same dog as I see in the picture. I know that dog loves cold weather.
I'd try a cat cafe. I'm kind of a cat person and it would probably be okay. Better than goat yoga and dog yoga, both of which I tried and didn't care for.
I am not sure about the country. Could be Japan. I've read about these kind places with cats, for cat's lovers, that could not afford to have one. I thought would be so nice to play with them, even a small period of time. I'm glad you wrote about these places likke a reminder of what I've read. Happy WW, Veronica! Hugs and blessings!❤️😘
We got our cat from a place that lets them all roam around kind of like a cat cafe. it had a couple of houses on the grounds (not including the house where the owners lived) that were just for cats. No people furniture or anything, just cat furniture. They kept it up very nicely too. Cool concept, just like the cat cafe. :)
Beautiful photos and lovely to see them all. Never heard of a cat cafe! Sound interesting though.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cats and photos, Veronica. Here we don't have cat cafe. I have two cats and I love them very much.
ReplyDeleteMany hugs.
