Venus flytrap
Although the Venus flytrap is a carnivorous plant, it cannot eat the same type of meat as humans. The plant turns black, rots, and dies if it’s fed a fast-food burger.

Traditional costumes of several ethnic groups indigenous to the states of Sabah and Sarawak in East Malaysia on the island of Borneo
These were displayed in a shopping mall commemorating Gawai Dayak.
Gawai Dayak is an annual festival and a public holiday celebrated by the Dayak people in Sarawak, Malaysia, on June 1 and 2.

That curry looks super duper delicious! I need to get a couple of those carnivorous plants...perfect for summer when flies and mosquitoes are everywhere.

ReplyDeleteThe clothing is amazing ..I love the colors. I've always thought I would have loved to live during a time and in a country where the clothes were so beautiful. Instead I was born in Kansas, the midwest...and now wear nothing but jeans and t-shirts in summer and flannel shirts and jeans in winter. I have no style at all lolol..

Interesting to learn about the diet of the Venus Fly Trap, Veronica Lee, and it appears that the plant has more sense than some humans. Those colorful outfits are beautiful and I wondered how much care they would need for everyday wear. As always, dinner looked so delicious!

Interesting tidbit about the Venus flytrap. I never would have thought to try feeding it hamburger, haha. What some people won't think of. I wonder if anyone ever tried putting their finger in to see what would happen.

The mannequins there are interesting. They don't have faces or skin tones like the ones over here do.
