The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

My son took these photos at a mall where his client's office is located.

I am glad that our local malls are keeping the Christmas spirit alive despite the  lack of shoppers and many a shuttered store.

  4. Many shopkeepers try to make it fun these days. Unfortunately here again in the Netherlands there are restrictions due to the many numbers of infections. I myself am and have not dared to go to shops for a long time and I miss the fun a lot. But because I am in a large risk group I no longer dare.

My words and message can you read in my video below the words.I wish you and all your visitors and friends many lovely days. aand my wish is also that its gonna be better next year. But for now i am very sad. Thanks for sharing this photos.

  5. WOW! Gosh, that is beautiful! Not sure what the mall looks like here...we aren't going. I don't need anything that bad and most stores have low inventory because everyone is shopping online. Crazy, isn't it?!

  15. I concur, at least the shops did their yearly Christmas lights! The same happened in Toronto (Jackie's Junkboat Travel's blog). Nice of your son to take these photos for you for All Seasons and give you a festive post!
Was smiling when I saw your attempt to comment as another person... our battle with the internet. Have a peaceful and bright rest of the week! Jesh

  18. Wow! I haven't seen malls here dress up like that for Christmas in years. It was always a joyful experience shopping at one. Glad they still do it there so beautifully.

  21. Yes! We must do our best to keep the spirit of Christmas. Let's not get overwhelmed by the situation. Let's decorate our houses, let's dress nicely; we women, let's style and make up. Let the Christmas songs resound from the houses and let us enjoy every moment!

Have a fine day, dear Veronica!

  22. Very pretty. Malls are not my favourite places. I feel quite enclosed so I don’t normally shop there. These days I don’t go there at all.

  23. So beautiful. Malls here are also decorated but going there isn't the same. It is really sad.

  28. Wow! That is gorgeous! I love Christmas decorations! When we went for my son's blood test, I was thinking I should take pics at the lab: they had some tall toy soldiers and the decor was really pretty.

  30. It looks wonderfully festive. I haven't been in a mall or any shops since the beginning of March as my medication has lowered my immune system. I really miss it and meeting friends.

  31. Very beautiful Christmas photos ! Unfortunately with our lockdown, there is not a lot of Christmas mood in the air, despite the decorations in the streets and on houses. Mostly people don't even put a tree up !

  39. Such X'masy gorgeousness, dearest Vero.

I managed to see one of the massive trees in a nearby outdoor shopping complex, as I've been avoiding malls like plague these days.

But I love how these places enliven up, despite the covid fear. Adds copious amounts of hope and joy.

Happy Yule and loads of festive cheer my dearest.
May your new year be dazzling and kind.
    Big hugs and kisses.

Thanks for this post for #WW. Will be going live next week again. See you soon. And stay safe.
