I heart Faces (Pets' Only)

This is Snowball, Josh's hamster. She went to hamster heaven a week ago. She was loved to death, literally - all that kissing, squeezing and overfeeding.

R. I. P. Snowball. We miss you so much.

  3. I used to have hamsters too (first I had a pair, then they had babies and multiplied, so I had to give them away)... they're just soooo adorable... especially when the hide food in their cheeks.

I'm sure your son would enjoy watching his hamster once he gets the wheel and attachments for the hamster's cage... they don't seem to get tired running around. :D

  4. Nooooo! NOT Snowball! I'm sorry you lost her--I hope Josh is okay. I love hamsters, but they just don't live very long. I would always cry harder than the kids when ours would die because I spent so much time talking to the darned things. I love how they look at you when you talk to them. Sigh. Makes me want to get another one.

  8. Awww, RIP, Snowball. Snowball will get to play in heaven with our Pumpkin who has since passed, and our Albino Rate Snowball, oddly enough, who went to go live with another family, but I'm sure if he's still alive, he is the oldest rat on the planet, poor Snowballs!
