This is Snowball, Josh's hamster. She went to hamster heaven a week ago. She was loved to death, literally - all that kissing, squeezing and overfeeding.

Fruitcorso

Every year in September, a festival called Fruitcorso is held to celebrate the harvest of fruits produced in the Betuwe area, Netherlands .
Fruit Corso, which means 'parade of fruits' in Dutch is celebrated on the second Saturday of September in the city of Tiel, a province of Gelderland.
The festival includes a parade of vehicles decorated with fruits and vegetables.

A miniature city made out of millions of toothpicks

It took 38 year old Stan Munro 6 years to build this toothpick city. He used 6 million toothpicks and 170 litres of glue. He can spend up to 6 months to create a building and each of his creations is built to 1:164 scale. He works at the Museum of Science and Technology in Syracuse, New York (USA).

And you've just been picking your teeth with them.

The Killington Hay Festival is an annual exhibit of clever sculptures made of both round and square hay bales. The festival features 35 enormous hay constructions from Teddy bears, to cows, dogs and the Tin Man.
