When he moved to a new state his mom let him legally change his name. Seems extreme, but the kids teasing him made him unhappy. His name is now Brandon.

My sister has moles on her face. She got some removed on her back, and the scars look worse than the moles did. Red head's have such sensitive skin. She didn't get the ones on her face removed; even though she'd like them gone. The scars may look awful on her.

I'm glad he got them removed. I think if someone feels a lack of confidence, and something can be done - take care of it. We have modern medicine for a reason. As far as the good fortune goes - the tiny scar is still there. He was born with the mole. Fortune knows that it was there. I BEGGED my mom to get them cut off. Just before I turned 14, we went to a dermatologist and they took care of it that day. I'm so happy that you and your husband reasoned with each other, and decided to listen to your child. Far too often children feel ignored by their parents, and I think you made the best decision in the long run. I think a boost in self esteem and happiness is so much more important than potential fame and wealth (: #KCACOLSAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13125908800772434921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7488090118671289297.post-6421828058931706542016-05-08T04:21:15.999-07:002016-05-08T04:21:15.999-07:00I think you made a great decision if it makes him ...I think you made a great decision if it makes him happy :-) I had no idea moles had such significance in some cultures - that's super interesting. #KCACOLSAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10936965321542502733noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7488090118671289297.post-65388757004586545292016-05-04T08:58:42.883-07:002016-05-04T08:58:42.883-07:00Oh my word!
