Joe Bagley - Paper Silhouettes

These life-like silhouettes are hand-cut by Boston artist Joe Bagley from a single piece of black paper using only an X-Acto knife. Amazing, isn't it?

  1. Wow, that is so amazing! I don't know how a person can have so much talent and patience to cut paper that precisely without cutting their fingers off as well! Obviously, this would not be a good fit for me... (yikes!)

  4. That definitely is an art form. It is just drawing with a pair of scissors (x-Acto knife. I saw a woman once do this with a pair of hang nail scissors. She was good.

  5. Those were amazing. I am always amazed by people with artistic abilities. How he gave a black piece of paper dimension is beyond me. I found you through Over 40 Follow Friday. I hope you can stop by and say hello.

  9. Those are amazing! So delicate and intricate. It's always impressive where other's creativity can take them. Thanks for always sharing your awesome finds! I love seeing them pop up in my reader, even when I don't get the chance to come and comment (though I'll make a better effort to do so).
