Condom Couture by Adriana Bertini

Inspired by HIV-positive children she met while volunteering at an AIDS prevention group (GAPA), talented 35-year-old Brazilian artist Adriana Bertini attempts to raise AIDS awareness by designing (over a span of ten years) condom outfits made entirely of quality test rejected condoms.

Condom clothes? A good cause is all that they are good for! I could never wear anything that was meant to be a sperm sample collector - ewww! You never cease to amaze me with what you can find out there.

Happy New Year friend!

I'm glad someone stepped up for the cause but I can't imagine wearing anything like that. They looked good but weren't to figure flattering. And how would she get rid of the latex smell? Either way, I hope a lot of money is raised for aids awareness. :)

A very good cause, but maybe not such great designs... though they'd be great in the rain :)

Thank you for your good wishes for the New Year - I wish you a wonderful New Year, too!

Hi, thanks for visiting my blog. These look great but how does she raise money? I can't see anyone actually buying them.
